‭BIL-ER National Seed Strategy: Rogue &‬‭ Umpqua Native Plant Partnerships Increased‬‭ Capacity for Native Seed Collection &‬‭ Production 2023-2028:‬‭ 2024 Performance Report‬‭

BIL-ER (Bipartisan Infrastructure Law: Ecosystem Restoration) funding has provided critical capacity for the native plant materials economy in Southwest Oregon. In our first year implementing this funding, RNPP is proud to have put “boots on the ground” to collect native seed from wild populations threatened by wildfire, make  critical investments in infrastructure to process and farm this seed, and provide educational and training opportunities for upcoming producers of native seeds who will enable us to keep restoration dollars local.
