This award winning, eleven week training helps rural landowners learn how to better utilize and take care of their land through weekly field visits, presentations from natural resource professionals, and the creation of a personalized management plan. The multi-disciplinary course provides training on topics such as wildfire risk reduction, woodland and forest management, encouraging (and controlling) wildlife, stream ecology, pasture management, soils and organic waste, small acreage systems and infrastructure, economics and enterprise on your land, stewardship planning and much more.

Role: Allow for seed/plant collection case-by-case and permitted as necessary on lands managed by the Oregon State University SOREC Land Stewards. Promote and utilize RNPP resources and serve in an advisory capacity. Host RNPP events case-by-case and permitted as necessary on lands managed by the Oregon State University SOREC Land Stewards.
