Seed Blitz Friday, June 17!
June 17 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us in wild collecting native seed to be used in future restoration work. This volunteer event will be taking place at either Upper Table Rocks or Rogue River Preserve, depending on seed ripening times. We will provide the exact location one week before the event.
Both locations are beautiful, fascinating, and chock-full of native plants. At this event you’ll have an opportunity to explore and collect with our staff ecologists, meet like-minded folks and contribute to projects that will support the next generations of bees, butterflies, birds and other wildlife.
Restrooms will not available at the site.
All experience levels and ages are welcome. Come prepared to walk in tall grass and up moderate hills. Be aware that poison oak may be present at this site. Bring plenty of water, sun protection, sturdy shoes and a lunch!
