Seed Blitz / Salvage at Lower Table Rocks July 28th
July 28, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us to help collect/salvage native seed from a site on Lower Table Rock that is slated for development into a Pacific Power sub-station. This event is being jointly hosted by RNPP, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and Pacific Power. All seed collected from the site will be made available to RNPP partners for restoration projects in nearby areas.
We will meet at 8 am at the Lower Table Rock Trail parking lot where shuttles to the seed collection site will be provided. We will collect seed from 8:30 to 11:30 and return to the LTR parking lot by noon. Bring plenty of water, sun protection, sturdy shoes, gaiters (if you have them) to protect your ankles from poky seeds. Please note that there is no restroom or water on site.
All skill levels and ages welcome. Contact Kathryn with any questions. RSVP Below.
