Camas Seed Blitz @ Lower Table Rock

June 24 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us at a special Nature Conservancy site on the flanks of Lower Table Rock, where we will collect Camas seed. This beautiful lily has great ecological as well as cultural value to our region. Learn the best way to harvest seeds from its pods and enjoy the views from Lower Table Rock!

All experience levels and ages are welcome. Come prepared to walk in tall grass and up moderate hills. Be aware that poison oak is plentiful at this site. Bring plenty of water, sun protection, sturdy shoes, gaiters (if you have them) to protect your ankles from poky seeds.

Thursday, June 24, 9am-1pm

Location: We will meet at the parking lot of Lower Table Rock trailhead, then caravan to the collection site.

PLEASE RSVP HERE

Directions to the site and other details will be emailed one week before the event.

Restrooms are not available at this site after we leave the LTR trailhead.
